  • A tour that fits anyone passing by Rome.
Sometimes Rome is not your main attraction. You land in Rome and keep going north to the Green Tuscany or south to the Mediterranean Amalfi coast. Maybe you got here by cruise to the port of Civitavecchia, and you only have a few hours to enjoy the beauty of Rome before you go back to the sea port or the airport. This is why I recommend this tour: A Taste of Rome. It includes all the central attraction, all the Must-See places. Hopefully, this tour will leave with you a taste for more, more of Rome as you return here for at least three- four days.

We’ll start the tour with the famous statue made by one of the greatest and most famous artist ever, and that is Michelangelo and his statue of Moses! Then we will leave the Renaissance and go into the ancient period: to the Coliseum: one of the Seven Greatest Wonders of the World: a Wonder that stands in its place for almost 2,000 years.

After we understand what the Coliseum was used for all these years, we’ll keep going to the center of Ancient Rome, the center of government and commerce of ancient times: the Roman & Imperial Forum. At the end of the street: via dei Fori Imperiali: we’ll reach a giant monument, all made of shiny white marble, the Vittoriano (Altar of the Motherland)  that is located in Piazza Venezia. Why was it built? As we continue with our tour, you will find out.

From there we will continue to the very most famous fountain: The Trevi or The Wishing Fountain: a must-visit location to anyone wishing to come back to Rome!

As we go on, we will reach the center of the government building of modern Italy: the Parliament, the government building, & a monument from Roman times: a beautiful marble column dedicated to the emperor Marcus Aurelius.

After we stop for a break of real Italian coffee, we will continue to the Pantheon, the temple of all the gods in the Roman Olympus, a fascinating structure in its beauty and engineering shape.

We will continue to the rare and beautiful wall paintings (frescos) located in the church of Saint Ignatius and then we can have a real taste of Rome: eating an authentic & excellent Italian ice-cream!

We will end in a beautiful square: the Piazza Navona, with the fountain of the Four Rivers of the famous sculptor Barinini.
